I have some photos from my late father's albums which may interest some.

My father was Flight Lieutenant Harry Bullen and in 1956 he was serving as a navigator with XV Squadron at Honington. We lived in married quarters which gave us a view accross a field of the runway.

These three pictures may have been taken near our house, possibly dated June or July 1956.

WD980, return from Cyprus, October 1956. Harry Bullen back row, 3rd from left and his pilot, Squadron Leader Alan Thompson, bottom row second from the right. Also, on the back row, 5th from right, is F/L Brian Wickham. Wickham and Bullen later formed part of a Valiant crew with 7 Squadron, also at Honington. I don't know any of the others.

'The reason why Suez was Lost'. Thompson and Bullen.

In the Book 'Wings Over Suez' by Brian Cull (publ 1996), Thompson describes an attack on Cairo Radio Station.
