Stirling would be an excellent choice, but it is a little tricky for public transport after about 1030...

However, there are some good watering holes and a particularly nice mexican restaurant.

As for a venue, I am guessing that a place for feeding is unlikely to be able to accomodate a largish group so close to Xmas, so do we just meet somewhere in the center of town and get a fish supper with salt n' sauce at some point in the evening?

The game plan is meet up at 1500 in Cloisters, 26 Brougham St, claim a corner, get puggled by 2000, go for a curry and stagger back to Waverley for the last train home.

I'm going to REALLY enjoy dragging myself to Murrayfield next day for the Castres game. :uhoh:

Curry approx 2000 - wherever we can find space.

Last train home approx 2300.

I'm only home from Dec 19th until Jan 2nd, so will work with whatever you decide. Otherwise there's always next Christmas.

Hoping 11th works for enough people, it should be a goer! And as I have to be angelic chorister the following day, not getting food ain't an option, mustpost!
