Are you obliged to answer CC calls during your 'off' days trying desperately to man their A/C during this 'peak' season?
Anyone of us getting called up during off days getting discreet reimbursement...:pFly dubai do pay aed 350 per flt, is Ey giving extra for the 'extra' mile???
Anyhow i just wonder how many of our flts have been canceled or on the ground or the 'volunteers' are keeping em' up in the sky.....
Thank you guys...what a life saver...:}

Especially the guy's on the freighter. Do you love deadheading on your off days?
The money is real good! ZERO, plus econmy seating. Real nice.
Are you saying, that if you are flying the frieghter, and deaheading somewhere, you position in economy??? Is that what it is???
Insh Allah

I don't know how many times you need to be told. DO NOT ANSWER your phone on a day off!!! No matter how much it benefits you, all you are doing is helping the company that has refused to give you a raise, an increase for the cost of living, an increase in housing, travel in economy while dead heading and so on. In addition to that you are denying another pilot a job.
And anyone that would even consider doing it for less then 3000 dhs a day is even a bigger idiot.

Hi SOPS,
It's like this. Taxi from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, then seat in a nice economy seat on Emirates. Then operate home at 50dhs/hr ($13.63US rounded up) for Captain. EY does not pay for deadheads or positioning := Yet some guy's will go and do it on their day's off.
Why give us a payraise when guy's work for FREE :ugh:
When was are last raise? 3 years ago. How much was our bonus last year? Zero!
