Hi All,
I will be in CDG in December thanks to winter schedule my flight is re-scheduled and I will be staying in CDG for one night and I am looking for a hotel for my stay.
Does anyone know of a good hotel that provides airport transfers and offer good crew discount?
Thanks in advance.

Most of the hotels at Roissy offer shuttle service but the Sheraton is located right inside the airport between terminals 2A/2C which means you only walk to your gate/check-in and as far as I remember Sheratons worldwide offer some pretty good crew discounts providing you book thru their central reservation office. I suggest you check www.sheraton.com (http://www.sheraton.com) or contact their nearest reservation office to you. Cheers
Yes Dp...
I 'lived' at that Sheraton inside the CDG terminal for some 6 weeks a couple of years ago.
I was working an AF contract with AAI at the time.
It was very convenient, as it's located directly above the pax access to the train terminal.
Very comfortable hotel...

I usually stay at the Novotel located adjacent to Terminal 3. It is a more economic alternative to the Sheraton although a bit more basic with regard to amenities and comfort.
Similarly, it is within the airport itself and therefore no coach transfer is required as it is connected to Terminals 1 and 2 by the automatic train line. Very quick and easy to get to, especially if you only have an overnight bag.

DesiPilot,
The trouble with looking at any hotel public website (sheraton.com etc) is it is a devil of a job to figure out where to find the airline rates. In fact, it cannot be done!
The Sheraton, Novotel and a few others can all be booked directly from here: idDeals home (http://www.iddeals.com) ...however membership is required, so worth it if you are doing more trips within the next year.
I have stayed at the Novotel, it is perfectly OK for 1 night, although I am sure the Sheraton would be more comfy.

Courtyard by Marriott in Roissy used to give us a good airline rate. Nice quiet place to stay.

I think it is now a full-up Marriott. And you can walk into Roissy for dinner, some pretty good restaurants

Whichever hotel you choose, make sure you watch your bags... I got my bag robbed whilst checking into the Ibis.(computer, logbook, licence etc )... Police told me that there were 5 gangs targeting airport hotels that night..... Luckily for me the police were waiting for them in the Ibis and I got my bag back........ :):)
I dropped a nice bottle of whiskey to the police station the next morning..:p

The Ibis, what a dump. I will NEVER stay there again. The Millenium (formerly Copthorne) is nice and gives a good rate.

Ibis is OK just don't expect too much from it. I use it for over nights between leaving my place in Loire Valley and SQ333 back here next day. It's EUR80 so cannot complain.
If I was staying longer, the Novotel looks a reasonable bet for somewhere nicer.

Ibis in general are kind of "cheap and crap" hotels I dont know the one at CDG but I know the Milenium hotel and I think it's a little bit old fashion, there is a free wifi connection nearby the reception that's why everybody is seated with the laptop on their legs. Their break fast is not the best I have ever had. They have a swiming pool though.
Novotel in Roissy Village looks beautiful.
And Suite Novotel is not bad, the room is ok, you have a fridge and microwave oven, free telephone, free movies (except porn ones :E), free internet and with an airline discount you might be able to pay around 80 euros/night.
cheers.
PS: be aware that Roissy village is not Paris city center, it's a very ugly place with nothing to do there :=:yuk::ugh:
