The ABC (Australia) is reporting breaking news of an aircraft crash in Outback QLD, near Eromanga, with no details to hand, as regards aircraft type/number of pax/injuries/fatalities. Anyone have any further info?

Courier mails reckon Durham Downs.
Not good news, apparently.

Latest reports have it as a Cessna 172, two fatalities .. :(

Location is reported as closer to Thargomindah than Durham Downs.

Absolutely shattered to hear about this tragedy. RIP mate..you loved the job...you were perfect for it at Durham and the Role you played in the Kidman Community. Deepest Sympathy to both families :(

RIP Daz. You were a fine young man and it was a priveledge to know you. My condolences to your family and your mates. You always wanted to muster and you made it.

We are all proud of you and i for one know that the world has lost a top class bloke.

Sad day indeed.

Its bloody terrible when these kinds of things happen. I never knew the pilot nor the pax involved but condolances to their families and friends.

I did a short stint at Durham for Kidman's, actually did my training in VH-VSK & know how tight the group there is, such a tragedy, my condolences to the family and friends of those lost.

Comes as a real shock. I used to be based at Durham and flew 600+ hours in VSK before the pilot above took my position. RIP mate and Graham the head mechanic...great bunch of crew at SK and at Durham, may you both RIP.
