Mangel på drivstoff førte til nødlanding - Stavanger Aftenblad (http://www.aftenbladet.no/lokalt/1276311/Mangel_paa_drivstoff_foerte_til_noedlanding.html)

Lack of fuel led to emergency landing
A problem with the fuel supply was the reason for a helicopter of the type EC 225 made an emergency landing on Vigrestad Saturday night, said general manager Renee De Jong in Bristow Norway

Mmmm ...

Looks like a 'Brand New' SAR machine ... on ferry for completion perhaps?

Flying brand new machines can have it's moments.

Had a group of Agusta Engineers (the kind with university degrees) working in QC come up and ask if they could look at my Chinook as we were getting ready to do a training sortie. After a few minutes with calipers, micrometers, perhaps a meter stick...a Chinese Parliment over some technical drawings...and we were asked to retire for the day. Seems during a fabrication process some fellow mis-read the drawings...set wrong numbers on the computer operated milling machine...and cut the synch shafts a bit short. For the un-knowing...the "synch shaft" is the one that keeps the two rotor heads tied together. A failure of them....and a Wokka becomes the world's most efficient sausage maker.
