Bahrain Air has wet leased a couple of A330's from Air Asia and is now operating flights to JED/AMD and to other destinations acording to sources in KSA.
Could this be signs of growth and expantion in fleet and network?

Interesting...how did that one manage to slip through relatively unannounced (if it's true).
There is nothing posted on their website about it.

Get your facts right first.
The aeroplane has been leased by Al Lama group (Saudi) from Air Asia X for the hajj period. Will operate to HDY/STN/KUL/KHI/CDG and some other destinations.
Bahrain Air have nothing to do with the A330 except the callsign and flight numbers.
A/C in question is 9M-XAA (C/N 054).
In contrast, Bahrain Air leased A9CBAZ (A320) to Al Lama for hajj.
