When is it out?

I talked to them few days ago. I think it will be out sometimes in Nov....around Nov 15th..As for hiring DESO and DEFO goes, you will not see any, anytime soon. I was told maybe in 2013 or 2014. They are looking to upgrade SO to JFO and and FO to fill all there needs and bring cadets be fill the SO slots..They also said the B748 is being delayed again. So I don't see any DE joining CX until 2014.

Wrong, there will be a short term shortage of pilots in 2011/12.
Due to expansion & alot of F/O leaving.

Thus DESO & DEFO will start alot sooner again. Hang in there if you have experience.

Already within this month 7 F/O have left. There will be many more in the coming months. (That is F/O with housing that are finding grass greener)

Those young enough joining as Cadets will be leaving here 12months after upgrading to JFO in 4+ years. And using CX. Thus plan of being here min 5-6years before having experience to move on.

In time, you'll see that not getting into CX was the best thing that ever happened to you.
