Discovery is looking to film a DC-10 and apart from the one at Manston Airport, and at Manchester does anyone know of a DC10 that is in tact and in UK?
Please call 0208 6007926 or 07961 124731 if you know of any others.
Many thanks
Sascha

You might want to post this query under "Aviation History and Nostalgia." If there's a Doug 10 anywhere in England, those anoraks will know it.

Quite sure the answer is no. Omni visit the UK and thats about it and they are to busy.

I would suggest contacting Air Salvage International . You may look them up at:

Only DC10's to be seen are those visiting - freighters from the likes of World Airways and they do not stay long

If you come across one of these it may well be intact but not necessarily airworthy !

Omni International is a well run company, and....has made a profit with their ops for the last ten years, uninterupted.
Privately owned, and very stable.
The 'Laker' of the US charter airlines....without the drama.:}
Sandy Burstein has it right...and, most of their pilots agree.

What about DAS Cargo into LGW ?

Of course it might help if you called them by their correct name...

Omni have a maintenance base in EINN .
There are always one or two on the ground, not counting the troopers.

I thought DAS Cargo had gone down the pan some time ago so you are not likely to see one of their DC10s at LGW.

Have Avient in LGG still got a DC10? I thought they had moved on to MD11s?

Maybe they just need a big lens - DC10s overfly the UK quite frequently!

Bigt I was at Kemble back in September and didn't see any, there were three or four there a few years back but they have all been scrapped/parted out.
