Easy Jet have just cancelled a bunch of flights to France today (including one which my parents planned to take), apparently because of a strike by French Air Traffic Controllers (A general strike has been announced in France, commencing on the 15th September 2010 and lasting until 23:59 on the 23rd September. French Air Traffic Control will be taking part in this strike action. As France is centrally located in Europe, this is affecting flights not only to and from France, but also those operating through or near French airspace.)
What puzzles me is that I can't find any reference to this strike on the internet, nor do Ryanair, Flybe, Air France or BA seem to have cancelled anything. Since I can't see anyone else cancelling flights, the cynic in me is wondering whether this is an Easy Jet or an ATC problem?
