View Full Version : Ramp Damaged Aircraft

Working on a safety presentation, and I am looking for photos of any aircraft the sustained damage while parked on the ramp. Damage from fuel trucks, catering trucks, maint vehicles, etc. Thanks for your attention to this request.

Sorry I don't have any photos but many years ago several new Mirage jets were on their delivery flight and stayed overnight at a base overseas. One of the airfield guard duty soldiers broke the nose pitot tube and it was hanging down slightly. Since it looked different than the others which were all lined up he broke all the others so as to look the same.

Looks as though the AN-2 took the brunt of that one.

There was an incident involving an Enstrom 480 being 'nudged' by a fixed wing aircraft. Think it occurred last year - thread below contains all the details.

GoodGrief, i was thinking about that one. :sad:

there was a thread recently about a brand new dauphin at the marignane plant that ended up resting on its blades :eek:. maybe someone can scare it up for us.
