Hello ppruners,
Could somebody tell me where to find the exact definition of category DL aircraft, i.e. large aircraft like the A380? PANS-OPS, Volume I, Section 4, Chapter 1, 1.3 refers.
I just can't seem to find it myself, but I'm counting on you.

I just found the answer by myself.
Category DL aircraft have the same assumed approach speeds as category D aircraft, however their maximum wing span is assumed to be 80 m (65 m for category D) and the maximum vertical distance between the wheels and the glide path antenna is 8 m (7 m for category D).
It was all in PANS-OPS, Volume II. Thanks to everybody taking an interest in my question.

Hi hvogt
Could you tell me where you found this definition in Pans Ops Volume II?
I would be interested to see it as in Europe the definition suggests that the Approach Minima for DL category aircraft could apply to aircraft flying category C (A380-800) approach speeds where the >65 m / 7 m situation exists.

I found the definition in 1.1.3 of PANS-OPS, Volume II, Part II, Section 1, Chapter 1 for ILS approaches.
