Looks like one of the expert pilots on the B777 tried to land on a closed /under construction runway in japan, a Go Around was made at the last minute. Rumor has is crew was arrested for a short time. Black boxes were pull from the aircraft before the Japanese CAA would release the aircraft back into commercial operation, which lead into a couple of days ground time in japan.

Not sure what to make of that one, but heard those guys up front have been given walking papers.

Isn't QA the designator for Click Mexicana, I thought the Mexicana group had ceased flying?

I heard from someone 'in the know' that the aircraft was impounded and CVR etc removed for analysis because the aicraft had flown into restricted airspace.

Those involved currently "grounded" - Not left the building or indeed the country

May the Farce be with you
