does any one out there have a flow chart something similar to understand the rules for the section and how they work

Can't people read anymore?

The best way to get your head around CAO48 is to make up your own flow chart!

If you just blindly copy someone else, you'll have no understanding of it!

Just go onto the FRMS (FAID) instead. Let the computer work out if you can work or not :ok: :hmm: :eek:

Computer says...yes

I heard its only programmed to say yes, unless you ask it whether you're fatigued today... computer says no!, get back to work.

And the computers union has stated it must be switched off on weekends and between the hours of 8PM to 8AM weekdays to ensure adequate rest. During these periods pilots must work until the computer is able to provide an answer to the fatigue related question.

Lots of airmedical operators roster 12 hour tours of duty to reduce salary costs.
