does anyone knows something about the Finnair situation? i heard the plan is to hire copilots in 2011 but no confirmation have been made about that yet.

This "forced bad plan" was finishing in December 2010 so maybe expectations are good for this airline, since there have been some news in Finland saying that they will need to hire around 8.000 people for all the departments.

The only thing I know about Finnair is that if you could write your question in perfect Finnish then you would stand a little change of getting in there. Otherwise don't even bother.
