In 1952 a flight of F-86s from Shepherds Grove overflew Farnborough in formation on the Friday.
A 116th pilot comments:
"The 116th just happened to have our usual 16 F-86's airborne .Two flights of 4 and 4 flights of 2. Seems the two flights of 4 were joined up by an element of 2 and they headed for THE BIG SHOW. Major Ed Connor(Ops Officer) leading. One pass was made in a "V" formation DURING the Show..I have a picture from one of the London papers."

I would like to know more about this flyby and if possible get a good photo.
Can anyone help?
