Yet another GF crony has been appointed to a Management position in EY training !
How much longer is this crap going to be allowed to continue under Hogans regime??

There is no formal process involved when it comes to the Cronys it just the rest of us whom the procedures and processes apply.:oh:
Management appointments have become a joke, try a bit of honesty for once!

If the clown who started this thread is refering to CR then I assure you he is the best training manager you've got at EY. As someone who has known him along time at GF you are lucky to have him as he will probably fix the crap that is perpetrated on this site.:ok:

Desert Aviator,

He is CR indeed, and when I saw him being recruited by EY I was so happy.
Not only his professionalism, his knowledge but his humble side forces respect.
For one time that EY recruits the right person at the right place...:D:D:D

Good or bad, should there not be a process? Is there nobody currently at EY that could at least be considered?
It does seem as if our management shoot themselves in the foot time and again by not following there own processes.

SEC 3, not a very optimistic fellow are you?? Life is tough I suppose, give the fellow a chance, you may be plesantly suprised:ok:

He is ex-GF, but was there long before and after many others who have moved in your direction...

Are management positions advertised internally? I'm a line pilot, I work, go home, rest, go to work again I have no interest in being in management.

If its CR from GF. Then I echo the idea that EY is a lucky organisation. He is the reason that AQP made it to the Gulf. Very talented and extremely nice, a great team player.
Should start seeing some positive changes within the company. He makes things happen, doesn't let things just amble along. Will have the balls to throw out some of the dead wood that may already be there.

Been out of GF for few years but if CR is C Ramjambutti as he was affectively knick named by a one Ricardo Corbetto, then you lot at EY are lucky. Oh he will make a few enemies as he gets rid of checkers and trainers, who think its their god given right to be in such a position. For sure a few feathers will be ruffled.

There is a lot of BS being spouted here!
No matter who this chap is or how good he is. He should still have gone through a formal process.

His sidekick came in exactly the same way!
Every other new joiner goes through the selection process why not the GF cronys?

HR push out all this psychobabble but turns a blind eye whilst this crap goes on
It very wrong but will be sorted when a new broom comes in! :yuk:

Well stated camelbreath, the sad thing is that EY is corrupt and those in power are corrupted. On more than one occasion I have been told by management that they have free reign as and I quote "we are Etihad and we can do as we like". I have heard that someone actually managed to get this on tape! The truth is out there.......

Big loss for GF training dept, l can assure you.
He was leaving GF one way or another the only difference is that he didn't get his dream job with as the VP at GAA.

He is the reason that AQP made it to the Gulf.
Yeah he put a lot of work in cutting & pasting from AA training.

I guess SS will also be joining you guys soon.

If AQP was as simple as a cut paste job from AA, how is it that other carriers in the region don't have it?

If you thaink that AQP can be cut and pasted into your organisation, you've missed the entire point of the training program!

EK use AQP and it's a cut and paste that takes about 2 years to introduce properly. The AQP system has moved on a lot and is into it's 3rd or 4th generation by now. It's not new, been around for a long time in the US.
