No....not for me

Last week a young lass asked me how she can go about getting into Cabin Crew.

I ummed and arred for a while and said I'll get back to you. Just out of school with no quals other than advance first aid cert. Does one need yr 12?

So....advice anyone?

Not sure about year 12 but Im going to go with just looking at the requirements on the airline's website.

A little out of date, but IIRC, solid customer service credentials (ie some time working in a good restaurant or similar with references), excellent personal presentation and inner confidence without being bossy. First aid, responsible service of alcohol certificate and similar all an advantage.

I've never been CC so there'll doubtless be better advice than this.
Allthecoolnamesaregone's answer is probably correct but addresses a very different question :}.

I heard a rumour that Jetstar are in the process of starting a cadet program for cabin crew similar to the pilot one.

To be successful, you need to talk with a lisp. Wink, wink.
