Now this is by way of being a huge long shot. For more years than I care to remember, I have been searching in vain for photographs taken at St.Davids airfield post-war, when it was a satellite of Brawdy, and home to an Airwork unit equipped with Sea Mosquitoes, Sea Hornets, Sea Venoms and Meteors. A great friend of mine flew there until it all closed down in 1958, but no-one seems to have had a camera.

The recently published history of Brawdy includes one shot taken from the air of a line of Sea Venoms parked near the tower, but that's it. Surely someone, somewhere, pointed a camera at an aeroplane here?

Anything gratefully received, and yes, I do know about a well-known shot of a St.Davids Sea Venom that has done the rounds over the years, but it was taken at Pembrey.

Thanks in anticipation!
