The attached article describes quite an interesting follow-on to the loss of of Air India's Malabar Princess on Mont Blanc in November 1950 Messages that were frozen in time - Scotsman.com (http://www.scotsman.com/news/Messages-that-were-frozen-in.6438537.jp)

I was there last year, and that glacier is not a safe place to be...
A lot of other debris has been found over the years.

Curios ?, Malabar Princess was an Air India Constellation, but in the above post & the link to:
"Malabar Princess another engine found"

The picture shows a flat 6 piston engine, possibly Lycoming or TCM (Continental) so are there any other aircraft remains on the glacier ? although could the Constellation have used something similiar as an onboard APU ?. any idea ?, Paul H.

Wouldn't surprise me if all sorts of aircraft hadn't hit that hill at one time or another. I saw that purported "R-3350" photo and was amused that that's what they thought it was. Obviously from a GA aircraft or air taxi.
