WOW !!
Seems theres jobs a going for low time guys in the NT, if the current ads in AFAP are any indication, especially in mid July, thats gotta be a good sign for the industry, as you would assume players are being sucked up to the big time!!
Its unusual in July for essentially five of the 10-12 or so NT names are advertising, (showing no usual flow of CVs to the scrap bin) for drivers at the same time, the GA DN based biggie is notably absent as usual as we are all sure they are every newbies first stop, and maybe rightly so !!
While its a given a newbie is gona go for the probably the first job offered, a word of informed advice is hereapon offered.
A certain DN operator has lost a number of drivers recently due to the manor in which they have been treated and apparently certain regulators have been busy sorting the poo, and more drivers are set to walk asap. The CP is also apparently a total **** and looking to get out, this sinking ship somehow remains afloat year after year and seemed to be coming right (losing its stank rep) until it was revived recently.
Disregard the hours min with these advertisers as the first in , best dressed is gonna get a job with these outfits, at this time.! ie Johny on the spot .:ok:Go Bues....

Ahhh longass, so full of helpful and enlightening advice with yet again so few facts.

It appears you harbour ongoing resentment, perhaps you'll find some self help in one of those human factors books these young pilots you're appealing to have recently studied...or maybe you'll continue dispensing your rederic and advice for our ongoing amusement.

Keep it up.

Hmmmm, best I can make of that lot I'm afraid.
I think the gist is that one operator in Darwin may be getting desperate for pilots.
Possibly desperate for a reason.

@Bastion,

I believe the word you're looking for is rhetoric.:ok:

Anyone have advice as to what's the best way to apply to these places (the good ones hopefully). It says email CV but it's been suggested by other people that actually being there in person would be best.

But if this is a sign that the industry is picking up again then lets hope so!

Ipecac send them your CV. If you can't drop in give them a call, never hurts to have a chat.
