Hey!

Just wondering if anyone would have any info on finding a pilot job (if that is possible) in Russia and or any other Eastern European countries......helicopter pilot that is of course!!!

I know there are a lot of Russian pilots flying in Afghanistan and other parts of the world......

How is the helo business over there???

If you don't speak Russian then your chances are nil. Your chances are very slim if you a foreigner. Alot of ex-mil pilots and not many civilian operators means there aren't many job options for a non Eastern European civilian pilot, esp RW pilots.

Anything is possible though. Getting a licence conversion done is something I don't know anything about. But money talks in that part of the world....

Any news about jobs in Russia or other easter countries?

What about the conversion from JAA to Russian? Anybody knows where can I do it?

Speaking russian (mother language), JAA CPL FI 400TT R22 R44.
