Bit of an obscure request this one but I'm looking for information concerning Martin Marauder B-26 as operated by the Free French in N Africa. My late father-in-law flew the B-26 for Groupe Gascogne - maybe from Casablanca or Blida?
Here are a couple of pics I've managed to find:

Thanks in advance,

Any use?

The designation "B-26" is a trap. The OP asked about the Martin one, the Marauder, not the Douglas Invader. The French happened to use both.

I ken Ken. But Marauders are mentioned in the Invader article.

Thanks for the link :ok: - but I'd seen it already thanks.. it's all about post-war B-26 Invader ops..
Why the US chose to run on the B-26 designator from the Marauder to the Invader I'll never know..
Quite a sporty aeroplane the Marauder.. I read somewhere on t' web that it could outrun a P-51 at low level.. (which sounds hardly credible)

There is a short chapter with a few photos on French use of the Marauder in Roger Freeman's B-26 Marauder at War. abebooks have some on offer but quite expensive.
