No exactly. Can see AD government cancelling your visa permanently!
I cant see the point in moving anyway, as you will finish up back under EY umbrella sooner or later. It cant be that long before the Mak's have to hand over all of EK to the Al Nahyans or Mubudala.
EK are certainly doing their best to provoke such a move.

ok, sorry i had one of the dates wrong. the 19th will be at le meridien but in Dubai starting at 10am.
the 26th event will be held at the Royal Meridien in Abu dhabi starting at 10am as well. be careful as there are a Royal meridien and a "regular" meridien both in abu dhabi.
one guy from Ey applied one evening and was called the following morning.

Seems EK moved their Abu Dhabi roadshow back to Dubai. Received this notification today:
Emirates will be conducting information sessions inDubai during May. These sessions will provide more information on Emirates, our selection programme, the benefits of living and working in Dubai and details of our remuneration package.
Please note that spouses are welcome to attend.

I'm sure it's a very interesting prospect for a lot of EY 320 F/O's stuck in that fleet for a couple of years...
Quite a few of the Dubai EY crew will be giving it a good look too.
Given, most will have some sort of bond/joining allowence issues.
330 or 777 and get some sort of life back.
Ho hum.
and many more pilots ahead in the seniority list than etihad's one
