Guys

Can anyone tell me the power point type in Emirates new style business for laptop charging? I've emailed Skywards but no answer (bit busy sorting out stranded PAX I assume).

I assume its US style (I have Australian and UK) or are they like the SQ one;s which take pretty much anything.

Thanks

Click the picture of a plug for information on onboard power

Thanks for that. I had looked there but its not exactly definitive. I does suggest its a 2pin USA plug but I was hoping some expert could confirm.
Hate to get on board and get half way to DXB and puter died.

I haven't been on that aircraft, only the EK -200 and -300ER.

Could I suggest that you buy a decent adaptor offering UK to US and Euro plugs, as you should be safe if you have that.

My experience with the EK -200 is that the sockets don't like power supplies drawing 100w and tend to trip out.

Don't know if that is the case with the -200ER, but if you have a 65w power supply, it might be the safe choice to take.

There is an adaptor readily available for SLF to borrow on board.
