I'd like to hear from pilots who have been into these strips recently. Your comments would be appreciated. They would suit a trip I am planning.

Contact AOPA. They have a very good airfield directory and will prevent me possibly breaching copyright by telling you.
But the Creeds at Hedlow, 07 4922 7255 and
Nambucca, requires permission last contact is John Monckton 02 6568 8105.
They all could have moved on, but how would I know?

Hedlow is closed I understand, there is a short strip at Emu Park, as Frank suggests the Aopa book is a wise investment.

2 years ago hedlow was closed. Emu park was open nice grass strip. watch the powerlines at the golf course end. Contact council they often mow regularly. Like frank said aopa good guide

Thanks for your responses folks. As it happens I already have the latest AOPA Guide but it is two years out of date. John Monckton hasnt been at Nambucca for 18 months and the new contact is unknown. Sorry to hear Hedlow is closed as, on paper, it looked like a great facility.

Seems Hedlow has been reinvigorated following a recent sale and looks like it's a goer again.
Good to see. Great facility sitting idle for too many years.
