I'm planning a trip with FR to Morocco for the end of may, departing from Edinburgh.

However, with the current mess in full swing, would you consider this to be wise? Part of me is saying yes, it'll have to be over by then; but the other is telling me not to be naive and that this could potentially go on indefinately.

It'll many hundreds of pounds spent between flights and the hotel, so I'd be reluctant to chuck that down the drain and possibly be looking back in a months time calling myself an idiot.

Any thoughts?

Cheers.

Book a full service airline?

If you book ground services (hotels etc) that may be cancelled without penalty, then your only exposure is the airfare. Of course, you will pay a higher rate for rooms etc.

If you pay for that by credit card (not debit card), then in the unlikely even that the airline won't refund you, you have recourse to the bank.
