Are most airline guys covered? As a contractor, I'm looking for a good policy. (Union or Non Union) Any suggestions?

I think a company called Traffords do it in Manchester. Some people I know have it. Try their website.
Hope it helps.

Be very careful with LOL insurance. Read the (very) small print because they will riggle like hell when the time comes to pay out. Fact:
You only get the full payout if the licencing authority pull your licence for good. Fact:
85% of all licences suspended by the CAA remain 'suspended' and not removed nullifying your LOL payout.
Try and get a 'disability clause' which pays out after a waiting period while you are recuperating. Atleast with this, and if you go onto sick pay only with your company, you will have extra financial support.

Try:
HAYWARDS AVIATION, London.

I have a policy with Traffords - NOT in Manchester as the name suggests ;) but in Bedford. The policy I've got does provide cover for temporary loss of medical. Website is http://www.traffordsinsurance.co.uk
