I had to share this observation: there are defamation lawyers advertising on PPRuNe.:hmm:

I can just see these 'ambulance chasers' trying to drum up money from the Rumour Network. Plenty of near-defamatory stuff here so probably not a bad idea.

One more reason to play nicely,

Its probably Google Ads just searching through the page, finding key words and putting ads up it considers relevant to page content.
So talking about defamation, libel, slander etc will actually make it more likely an ad for defamation lawyers will appear on the page, due solely to those words being there.

Pprune doesn't have popups. If you have popups your pc is infected with malware or a virus. Try downloading and installing Microsoft Security Essentials - it's free and works well, I've never had a popup from any site in recent site, plus they are turned off in my browser.

Firefox with adblocker plus as an ad on and any ad will be gone, scarey if you have ti go back to other browsers and see all the ads!

There is on thread on the other aussie forum that might need defamation lawyers, got to do with the MBF fund.. That's a whole other forum though.

ABP on firefox, dont pay to download advertising you are not interested in...

I can't say I notice the ads, due to aussiefan's above post. Adblock Plus is great.
