Hi there, I am an ATCO from Malaysia.
Am planning to visit Flight Simulator Exhibition at
Lelystad Holland in November 5-8 2010.
I am on a tight budget. Any suggestions on where to
stay cheap (for two visitors) Any contacts?
Appreciate replies.

Hello,
The Lelystad airport is quite small and has one hotel: Hotel Lelystad Airport - Welkom! (http://www.hotellelystadairport.nl)
I'm guessing that you'll be arriving at Amsterdam, Schiphol. From there you'll need to get a train to Lelystad, and then a bus to the Lelystad airport, that will take approximately 1:30. By day this is no problem but I'm not sure that these connections will be available late at night (especially the bus service).
Any hotels in Amsterdam will be a lot more expensive and you'll have that transfer every day, two-way. The downside of staying at Lelystad airport is that there is not much to do there, it is a small general aviation airport with one restaurant, one hotel and one museum (which is where the convention is held).
There is also a hotel in Lelystad itself (there may be more than one), which is approximately 10-15 minutes from the airfield by bus: Hotel Lelystad - Apollo hotels & resorts - Apollo Hotel Lelystad City Centre (http://www.apollohotelsresorts.com/lelystad/)
This is cheaper than the airport hotel but you'll have to add the bus travel costs and time.
Hope this helps.

Veloo, contact me when approaching november. I might have a guest room for you and will be present at the Flight Sim event as well if I can get the days off (so you got transport as well then). I'm 20 minutes driving from there, plenty of things to do where I live and I have good contact with KLM VA folks. PM me for email / skype etc.
