When replying to another post I noticed that the FAA have changed their policy slightly. The Statement of demonstrated ability (SODA)is no longer issued after the succesful completion of the signal light test, instead a letter of evidence is issued. the difference is that the SODA was considered a waiver of medical standards and the letter of evidence is not a waiver it in fact means that you meet the standard fully.
