Hello,

I live in France and I regard to become ATP. I consider to get a FAA to work in any country thats accepts the FAA ATL.

I plan also to prepare and to take the ATPL frozen licence in France before to go.

I have at present time no PPL licence.

I consider to get CPL/IR ME + eventually a QT like B737 ?

I'm 36 years old, married with children and work and so would like to save the max of time. I do not know until now exactly how much time I will have for this, approximately one year.

I regard, eventually, to bring my familly with me.

Which school, which place, could you recommend to me ?

Thank in advance.

Regards

Pep

Well we can all recommend a school.
However:

The FAA does not know a "frozen ATPL" like the European system.
For the FAA ATP you need 1500 hrs of which 500 hrs XC and 100 hrs night.
You can't train or rent for that amount of time. Well you could but it would cost too much. So in order to get the FAA ATP you already need a job in aviation.
Which means you need a US work permit which is very hard to get for aviation.
Some schools still issue the J-1 visa but that program is running at it's end.
The J-1 used to allow you to work as a flight instructor towards your ATP requirements.
