Hi,

Anyone got any tips on going out in Perth? I'm here on a private trip and want to check out the Perth bars and clubs...

Thanks.

For starters, Swanbourne Beach for a Sunday Arvo session, Freemantle (anywhere) for a night out.

Depends what your into I suppose. Wednesday Nights at the leedy are always good. Subiaco has a few small clubs that are quite good for the weekend. Northbridge is where the masses will be on the weekend, The "Mint" in northbridge is pretty good. Little Creatures in Fremantle is a good place to go for some beer and food. Check out Perth Restaurant, Bar and Hotel Guide (http://www.theguide.com.au/) (WA for Perth) for a broad idea of whats happening around. :ok:

Thanks guys. I'm visiting a friend and we want to check out some spots. Preferably where the 20-30 year olds go, some music, drinks, etc. I'll have a look!

Northbridge and Freemantle.

It's been a while but Carnegies was pretty lively the last time I was there (Ashes Tour 06!)

Try the Subiaco Hotel on a Friday night and the Cottesloe Hotel for the sunday session. Avoid Northbridge,:yuk: as mentioned above the Leederville Hotel on a Wednesday night.

Yes, it's all coming back to me... Moon & Sixpence saw quite a lot of our custom. Good pub. The Lucky Shag was the HQ of the Barmy Army and more than a little lively(!)

Tiger Lil's - Murray St Perth, around the corner from Citigate Hotel
Lux Bar - Mt Lawley (similar to Melbourne's Gin Palace, if you've been there).

Thanks for the tips guys. Unfortunately we'll have to pack it all together in 1 night, so we'll have to take a pick.
