Anyone know more about the pilot of BA8860/61 who was overcome by fumes from foot and mouth disinfectant, 30/03/01? How much of a hazard is this stuff?

It's enough of a hazard to damage aircraft undercarriage structures and make the metal brittle. I wonder how much that's gonna cost (hopefully not in terms of human life)!

Thanks pielander. I have read all three of the CAA circulars about it. I understand that the LC pilotis still ill but is now out of hospital. I would like to know more about the risk and any precautions that can be taken. Its being kept very quiet.
