The thought of anyone doing anything good for the community and it has to be stamped on. So typical of the management in this place. Morons!!:ugh:

SUBJECT : Semmer Villas Facilities

Dear Occupant,
The facilities of the entire complex are intended for the use of all the Emirates staff/occupants (Company Provided Accommodation) in Semmer Villa, Cedre Villa and Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority Management staff and their immediate family (“Occupiers”) only and therefore cannot be use for non residential purposes.
The function hall and the nursery room can be used for ONE DAY EVENT/S ONLY e.g. Sports Activities, Meetings, Parties (Birthday, Wedding, Anniversaries, Halloween, Graduation, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, etc) as well as other community related activities or events. The facilities provided CANNOT BE USED FOR ANY COMMERCIAL/BUSSINESS PURPOSES AND RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES.
It has been brought to our attention that the facilities provided in Semmer residential complex are being used for Commercial Purposes. As per our lease agreement with Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority following are the terms and conditions for the home use and the shared areas:
· No business or commercial activity to which the general public is invited should be conducted within any plot designated as residential land within the Community.
· Business activity is not to be conducted on the exterior of the home.
· Shared Areas are those areas that are outside your Lot and are for the common use and enjoyment of members of the Community.
· Individuals should not hire subcontractors to work in the Shared Areas.
In view of the above, all the occupants are requested to adhere by the Terms and Conditions.
The Facilities Management has decided that effective 1st April 2010 all regular classes, community activities, held in DSO Community Centre (function hall, nursery room and squash court), swimming pool and Tennis Court (tennis lesson and swimming lesson) will be discontinued even if the activities have been previously approved by Facilities Management.
A conditions related to this booking is mentioned in the venue booking form available with the Security at the Community Centre Reception which is required to be adhered to.
Kindly ensure that you do not engage in any activity within the Community that is in violation of any law, ordinance, statute, rule or regulation of Dubai or of United Arab Emirates.
SQUASH AND TENNIS COURT:
Please note that the logbook and the key for the Squash Court will be kept with the Security at the Community Centre Reception.
The logbook and the key for the Tennis Court will be kept with the Security at the Gate in A/C Block and in B/D Block.
You are required to sign out the keys to the Squash and Tennis Court and return to the Security after use.
· Bookings must be made in person on the same day and will be accepted on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
· All the actual players name should be registered in the log book.
· All bookings are non-transferrable.
· Each residential unit is entitled to a maximum of two (2) hours.
· Maximum of four (4) players (DSO occupant and DSOA Management only) is permitted in the tennis court at any time.
· Only two (2) two players (DSO occupants and DSOA Management only) is permitted in each squash court at any time.
· No advance booking will be entertained or approved for more than 2 days in advance.
Semmer Villa, Cedre Villa’s occupants/staff, DSOA Management staff and their immediate family only are permitted to use the facilities. No external visitors/guest is permitted to use the facilities.
SWIMMING POOL:
No one will be allowed in the swimming area unless the pool is officially open and a lifeguard is on duty.
Infants/children who are not toilet trained who wish to enter any pool, must wear a clean diaper or disposable swim diaper covered by separate rubber/vinyl pants, all of which must fit snugly around the legs and waist. If the diaper becomes soiled, this person must leave the pool immediately, and may not return until he/she has taken or been given a soap shower and has been recovered by a new diaper with clean rubber/vinyl pants.
A dedicated swimming pool at Block B/D zone is assigned for the use of the children five (5) years old and under. Each child must be supervised in the water by an adult. Children must not be left unattended.
Please help us conserve water!
*Limit showers to 5 minutes.
*Monitor your children in the shower area.
We hereby like to keep you informed that the community’s facilities at the above location are to be use ONLY by the Emirates staff occupants of SEMMER VILLA, CEDRE VILLA complex and DSOA Management staff and not by any guest/outsiders.
Security Guards have been given authority to enforce all community rules. Occupants/staff who repeatedly violate the rules twice (2X) will be refused any further use of the facility.
Failure to comply with the existing and additional rules specified above the Security has the rights to refuse admittance or will be force to take strict action against those occupants/staff, who are not following these instructions. The occupants/staff will also be responsible for any damages, defecating in the pool and charges will apply to be deducted from the staff salary.
Facilities Management decision is final.
