Grand Q Shed Opening

GRAND Q-SHED OPENING AND LIGHTNING 50TH ANNIVERSARY DAY.
SATURDAY 24TH JULY, BRUNTINGTHORPE AIRFIELD LEICS.

There are two ways to join us on the day.
1. To celebrate the completion of the reconstruction of the ex-RAF Wattisham Q-Shed, all persons that have donated £50 or more to the Shed will receive an invitation. If however you have not donated £50 yet, and wish to join us, please do so via the website, Lightning Preservation Group Based at Bruntingthorpe Airfield near Leicester (http://www.lightnings.org.uk/)

2. To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the English Electric Lightning in RAF Squadron service.To gain free entry to the event, you will have to have served on Lightnings (WIWOL's).

Ex- Lightning personnel please e-mail [email protected], stating name, rank and number of tickets, and we will e-mail the tickets to you.

320, thanks, but I've just realised I will be en route to Oshkosh via Chicago on that day.
I look forward to visiting Bruntingthorpe at some other time. In the meantime, very well done. I admire your dogged persistence.
