Chose to save cost of flight to Gatwick and do Class 1 in Dublin. Now proud holder of JAA Medical Certificate Class 1 issued by Irish Aviation Authority but beginning to worry whether this is sufficient/acceptable for training in UK. Any comments from you experts on the regulations?

As of this date your Irish medical which actually states that it is a JAR medical, isnt valid anywhere else but in Ireland.

Ireland doesnt have JAA approval although for the medical procedures the JAA inspection is due before the summer.
