There used to be one based out of YPPF. VH HZN i think the rego was, got my first 5 hours 210 on it. It was based in the hangar next to the uni, and the engineer was the person to speak to in regards to getting into contact with the owner... good luck!

The $80.00 twin was Grumman Cougar VH-WPX. If I recall correctly when it first arrived in Adelaide it was $65.00 an hour but I didn't get near it until sometime later.
Of course at the time I was paying $26.00 an hour for hire and fly for Grumman Lynx/TR2's.

If you do find a place the hries out a C210, might be worth finding out who with do some dual hours with you. No point paying good coin to get a 200-300hr Grade 3 with no idea teaching you.

Most flying schools will be more than happy to charge $400/hr plus and give you their most junoir instructor.

Its no spaceship, but 1hrs worth of QUALITY dual time in a C210 is worth its weight in gold for that 1st gig up north :ok:
