We are trying to organize a get together of all of the entry, to take place on 6 SEP 10, 50 years on from when we all signed on. Inevitably, after 50 years there are a few who have disappeared off the radar, and I am hoping to dig out a few with this thread.
If you are one of them, please PM me. If you know one of them, and do not feel free to pass their details, PM me anyway and I will PM you my telephone No., so that they can contact me if they so wish.
The lost souls are:-
Mike Davies ( Equiper ?)
Mike Dales
Kevin Fitzpatrick
George Ayre
Al Jenkins
Mike Latham
John Porter
Bill Wright
Pat Bailey
Pete (Taff) Cox (Latterly Andovers)
Ray Grattan
John Kendrick ( Latterly Airtours)

Got 2 already, thanks for that, Keep them coming
O Xenos

The 96th Entry at RAF Locking are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their attestation with a re-union the weekend of the 10th/11th September. Of the 180 plus who signed up in September 1960, 120 are now members of the internet forum I run to facilitate the event. 96th Entry, RAF Locking - Index (http://www.96thentrylocking.net/forum/)

So I wish the Cranwell guys well in their quest to renew contacts with fellow entrants.

Will hopefully be seeing Kevin Fitzpatrick on 27th of March at t'club; 5FTS Oakington reunion "Do". Will mention this to him. He was a "Creamy" when I knew him there in 1964/65 ish'.

If he was a rather cadaverous ex QFI with an excellent and very dry sense of humour, I believe he went to Britannia in the '80's.

re John Porter

I seem to recall seeing him at the last V-Force reunion. The next one (http://www.vforcereunion.co.uk/) is in just over a month's time;might be worth asking the organisers to put up a "Wanted Poster".

Just discovered this board, to my astonishment! Some very familiar names. Would love to hear from any old friends of that time.

I am now an Australian, living on 100 acre property on the mid-north coast of NSW, enjoying life as an increasingly busy writer.

Hi Oxenos, I have just , rather belatedly I know, become aware of the request for information on any of those missing souls from 83 entry for the 2010 reunion. As one of them I would be delighted to know how the reunion went and whether any record was made of the same. Please send me your contact details so that I can get in touch.

My father is Ray Grattan. He is living in Scotland. I have recently moved to Australia. I am trying, unsuccessfully, to have him acknowledged/recognised for predicting the Yom Kippur War in 1973 when he was based in Malta in intelligence. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks, Yvonne Grattan
