Bests, Giz Jeep 5th Mar 2010, 13:15 Higher than we are allowed to and much higher than we want to. vecvechookattack 5th Mar 2010, 13:42 What's DLO? diginagain 5th Mar 2010, 13:49 Archaic term meaning Defence Logistics Organisation (mission; to Deliver Logistics for Operations), some offices in the Andover area, merged with DPA to form DES. You did ask. airborne_artist 5th Mar 2010, 15:35 There's more than one DLO site, though. I've been working at a top-secret Oxfordshire DLO site this last few months...:ok: ralphmalph 5th Mar 2010, 16:34 All gates are 500' on the Wallop QFE. SilsoeSid 5th Mar 2010, 16:52 All gates are 500' on the Wallop QFE. Has the security state gone up? HEDP 5th Mar 2010, 18:06 Nope but does this have anything to do with the new owners? gizmocat 8th Mar 2010, 12:58 Cheers for that chaps, just what I was after. :ok: Jeep 9th Mar 2010, 10:00 DLO Andover is not a MW gate. To avoid Andover, local villages and the Thruxton ATZ it is a route often used day and night. The minimum height to overfly that area would depend on authorisation, weather, sunbathers etc. |
