The exhaust system was needed elsewhere for a classified Defense Dept. test effort, Davis said.

Glad to be of service. Let's guess - it flies around for hours, is hard to spot and is piloted by Dwane who still lives with his mum in a caravan.
That might push things along a bit too.

A few years ago, as a practicing avionics engineer, I opined that avionics would, in the not too distant future, begin to make military pilots obsolete. Air warfare would eventually be conducted by remote control from distant operations control centres. I was laughed out of the forum. Still laughing are we? ;)
First the recce drones, then armed drones, now its the bombers. How long before being a "Top Gun" becomes a desk job...

Meh, a drone will never be as funny or good at dancing as I was.

"Predator" "Reaper" "Phantom Ray"
The names look scarier than the machines! Lord only knows what these companies would name domestic appliances if they made them.

Could it pass the Turing test?....or choose to fly around an object that isn't supposed to be there?

A classic example of a pathetic and boring thread!
