What do you think Ed, Allan and Stefan feel when they watch this?
Remorse or guilt?
Doubt it.
Standard defense mechanism - laugh while thinking it's either lies or about someone else!
:ugh:
For me though - brilliant but sad, a bit like nuclear weapons. Sad only because I remember what EK once was.
YOU MANAGEMENT BOYS REALLY "SCREWED THE POOCH"!

The question is... will the author's name remain a mystery, as has the name of author of 'The Caravan' all these years?

(For his sake - and his family's, if he has one - I hope so.)

Very well done. The Stefan bits were cruelly on target.

My guess the author is an Airbus dude, or we've have had the aft torpedo tube and "torpedoes los!" squeezed somewhere into the dialogue.

Utterly utterly brilliant! Hearty congratulations to 'stripey pyjamas' for this magnificent piece of work - can the man or woman concerned be commissioned to produce an adaptation for Qatar Airways? A few more episodes to add, but basically the same story with the names changed to fit the 'management' characters over yonder.
Keep up the great work. :}

Wakbar

By the way TCAS, Ed etc you are but amateurs compared your counterparts in QR, watch for more posts giving you some more 'techniques' on shafting your pilots 'properly' :E

Brilliant bit of video editing worthy of an Oscar... and not the Martinez variety !!The allocation of characters, subtitling etc.. is well done. Is the original version from the movie "The Right Stuff" .... the Chuck Yeager story?

Whilst I found the videos totally amusing and an excellent laugh, I must admit I am a bit saddened that a once great company that I was so proud to join has now become the laughing stock of the industry as far as pilots are concerned, thanks to the total incompetence of those who have been at the helm. This is nothing short of a crime against those of us who have put in so many years and so much effort to help EK get to where it is.... what to do! :ugh:

The maker of these fantastic videos has nothing to fear. In fact I hope he gets exposed so he can pursue a real career in a field were he has a great talent.

Take the plunge and pursue your dream, don`t let it rot away in mediocre job in middle earth.
There is a Oscar or two waiting for you at the end of the rainbow.

I've watched the first video and it's brilliant. Looking forward to seeing the rest now. However, I'm not hearing any audio. Is that correct?

I'm also wondering why this thread has such a mediocre rating. Are management types signing in just to give it a poor rating? It should have a five stripe thumbs up.

Keep voting it a 5 striper thumbs up.

Spoke last night to the (ageing) author of 'The Caravan'. After watching the 'Darkest Hour' clips, he says he dips his lid to the new master and offers his sincere congratulations. Brilliant stuff.

Myself? Whilst in awe of all I've watched so far, (and still with tears in my eyes), as a seben seben seben driver, with all the German input, I'm just ein bisien disappointed we didn't see reference to Unterseeboots and read a "Torpodeos los!!" caption. (Any Airboos driver who doesn't understand that reference, ask a 777 driver.)

Hint, hint... maybe a new series using "Das Boot" footage to address the remote inflight crew rest issue?

These video's are outstanding...however..

The creator was not totally correct about our illustrious "Werner" not being invited to any BBQ's. His history with this airline includes attending some KOREAN BBQ's where the meat was served up very tender. Just ask our Korean Cabin Crew how a certain CCM (his wife) treats ALL the Korean girls under her watch (and why!).... He got caught wielding his BBQ tools in the wrong BBQ!! :}

After being out of the sand pit for some time, I still find it staggering that an airline that has accomplished so much, can't manage to weed out the idiots from within their management. Are they keeping them around so they can be thrown in jail as scapegoats later?

Now I can't decide what would be worse, not seeing the next youtube installment about them, or them remaining in EK?:ugh:
