Based on 2010 B777 rosters to date:

Can anyone provide a realistic monthly pay for B777 Captain?

Appreciated!

speaking for me its.. approx. 52k to 58k in local currency (Qatari Riyal) fixed at 3.65 to the USD

40k to 45k in QR per month, if you live in the company prison. you can also add just over 12k in QR to that if you get the housing allowance.

the pay is on time all the time. in nearly a decade they have only paid me late once. That was due to a honest stupid mistake. to everyone !! :ugh:

Krunch, you are indeed a Guru of useful info:ok:

When you say "speaking for me", is that number based on years of service/ Trg pay/ or other misc allowances?

Any idea what a Year 1 B777 DEC would expect to budget "after" training?
Promise not to quote you on the number:oh:

you get full basic while in training. the difference between 1st and 5th year (5 years being top scale):ugh: is very little. most tend to leave before reaching top scale

the figure I quoted is for a regular line pilot of greater than 5 years.

I can't answer for the F/O seat as i'm not 100% sure and would not want to lead you astray.
Figures for Capt's wage are accurate using my personal experience. for example this month salary fell right in those areas mentioned.

Some might feel there is not many positive things to say about working at QA. Some information you read is true to the letter and some things a bit exaggerated but the fact remains for nearly a decade I have been paid on time all the time.. and thats why i'm here.

CPT Krunch..there is something much more important than money we NEVER received on time here ;it's respect and consideration!

loc,

Poor baby. I take it from your use of the past tense you have moved on to somewhere more befitting your stature in life.

If you would be so kind, please share the name of that shangri-la so those of us oppressed masses may strive to someday achieve nirvana within it's employ.

ORYX.. i have two simple question for you:
-WHO is right or wrong:
The people who complain about true fact (you known the one you always blame!) OR the people commiting disgraceful/dishonest act in this airline: yes there are.. in case you didn't notice yet...?
-WHO should leave the company first amongst those two categories of people?
Just let me known..

Loc,

I think you mean questions not question. I find it interesting that you answered a question with a question. No matter.

I will assume you are still at Qatar and your use of past tense was just a grammatical error. As for your question(s); 1) Anyone has a right to complain, people should treat each other with respect. 2) Both groups of people should leave at the same time.

Anything else?

Anyone has the right to complain but they should leave the company..:}
that's a good one...

I didn't say that. YOU asked, who should leave. I gave my opinion.

You don't like the answer, too bad!

Don't let me stop you, complain away!!:yuk::yuk::yuk:
