Got a interview with Pearl Aviation, pretty sure its for a Metro Captain.

Has anyone got some current information about the operation, and current salary package.

Thanks in advance

Good operation, high C+T standards in Darwin on the Metro (don't expect to pass just by fronting-up for your training flights, you'll need to have a thorough knowledge of your AIP/Jepp etc). Pay is as per the Pearl EBA (which is a little out of date now), however still provides for a comfortable lifestyle. :ok::ok:

If you really want to help yourself in the interview, find out for sure what job your being interviewed for.

Got a interview with Pearl Aviation, pretty sure its for a Metro Captain.

Would suck if you turned up and they interviewed you for the job of chucking bags.

The Air up there, thank you for your very useful information, most people who read that would have been thinking Metro or King air. And I dont think there would be much difference between the interview process for both aeroplance. Last time I checked when you go for a flight crew interview at DJ or QF you dont find out till after the interview or even the first day on the job.

And once again thank you for your help, and im pretty sure its not for a baggage handler, as I dont think they really need to know about descent below LSALT as stated in my email as a possible question.

albeit a smartass way to put it, the statement in this case may be essential.
King Air ops are conducted with greatly varying differences to the pencil ops.

Depending on req's, skill levels, prior experience. etc etc

Here we go again on pprune, more slandering and useless comments, the topic of the thread was Pearl Interview, with regard to Salary Package and Conditions, so far only one individual has shed some light on the matter and the rest is pure S#$T.
Maybe we could try something different on pprune and stick to what the topic on hand is instead of useless BS.....give it a try u might read something useful for once. :ugh::ugh:

It will be on par with most other Metro operators.

Up around the 60-80k mark

You probably wont get many people coming forth with too much info for you unfortunately as the confidentiality agreement (those of us that have worked for Pearl etc have signed) expressly prohibits anything too specific being disclosed. Sorry, just the way it is.

The Chief Pilot, Fleet Manager and/or the C+T (whoever conducts your interview) will certainly be able to fill you in on what you can (potentially) earn on the Metro (TGG has given you an idea.... go with almost the larger figure as an average then add some generous allowances for RDO's/Jepps etc).:ok:

Regards,

OpsN;)

If they are mentioning decent below LSALT i guess there is the possibility of the Dornier doing SAR....

Confidentiality clause in place!

The CP and head check and training will advise of $ package, these two individuals are fair and straight up.

el_capachino. nup.....not going to bother.
