Hi all,

can someone give me a short description what "Bridge Check" means?

Is it some sort of Phase-In Check?

Thanks,
Michael

I would take it as meaning the check that aligns one operators approved maintenance programme for one aircraft to another approved maintenance programme.

This is usually when the aircraft is moving between operators.

A bridging check is normally a collection of tasks not done by the previous operator or done at different intervals which will line it up with your Maintenance Programme or Schedule.
Each operator will normally have check intervals that are different from other operators.
For instance if it is delivered to you fresh of a "C" check, you have ensure all the items on you own "C" check were carried out, if not, you have to carry them out as part of the bridging check.
Hope that has helped you.
