I would like to know that if someone has got a FAA Commercial Pilot Single Engine and wants to convert it into Indian CPL and assuming that recency has lappsed. Does the person need to go back and get the recency done is the same type of aircraft of same make and model or he could do it in any single engine which is approved in india.

For eg: Someone who has done whole of his training on a C-172 could he get his recency done on a C-152??

Thanks in advance!!

Not necessarily in the same TYPE, but if you are flying a C-152, make sure you get all of your checks (Day/Night/IR/Landings etc.) on a C-152!.....You can do your Recency on any aircraft Type so long as it is a registered A/c Type in India...details of which can be found here:
