Flight Schools around Hervey Bay

Just up the road in Bundy is Peter Marris, an ex-RAAF instructor.

Russell Middleton has a very good school with Tecnam and CT for RAA in YMYB. Its a good aerodrome to train from. The Aero Club will hire their recently-overhauled 160 h.p. C.172 L to club members with a Private licence, Day VFR. They let their flying school licence and charter licence lapse years ago when the CFI went to Bundy to teach at the TAFE.

Would strongly agree with Runaway Gun! Have known Peter Marris for 15 years, flown with him, learnt from him, tested him and regard him as a good bloke!

All this from an old codger, licenced since 1962, fixed and rotary wing rated, still practicing and current ATO. Go and introduce yourself............

I think bundy is only about an hr away from Hervey Bay so Peter Marris looks like he is probably the best option for me. I'll be up there at the end of the month and will go look him up for my PPL/CPL
