Try the following VOLMET stations. They should all carry current area SIGMET.

They were put together from a number of sources a few years ago, but should be valid.

Call sign Haven never failed to respond in all my years wandering the South Atlantic.

Purchase the en-route supplement known as SAAFE [South Atlantic, Africa, Far East] and the FIH [Flight Information Handbook] both sold to civilians as well as military. I only have time expired books to hand and the frequencies might have altered.

These publications give you times and frequencies but I know these folks well and they monitor all their frequencies despite the HF predictions. If the waveband is alight and they hear you then warm Scottish tones will assail your ears. There is a Met presence on the Island for downwind zones from Cape Kennedy and Kourou launch sites.

It not a diversionary airport and PPR is always required and not lightly given. But that said they are always delighted to be of service and should you visit one day [the route Brize-Mount Pleasant stops there] sup a Castle for me at Two Boats lunch time.
