Hi folks, I wonder if anyone can help on this point. A friend of mine (with said Israeli passport) is being given conflicting information about entrance to the UK. Is a specific Visa needed - or can they just book and arrive?
I'm sure that when the hols are over, it may be possible to get detailed information from authorities but not at the moment!

It took about 3.84 seconds to find the following UK Government service on Google. It took another 4.32 to get the question answered. It depends on the purpose of the visit, and possibly on where your friend is now.

It would also seem (from that website) to depend on the kind of Israeli document held.

Unless of course your friend is Tzipi Livni in which case she will be arrested and charged with war crimes
