Seems to me to be a good idea, but will everybody be issued it? From the report the armed forces seem to be so concentrated on Afghanistan that ALL other potential conflict zones are no longer being planned for. Will there never again be a need for temperate camouflage?

It's part of the PECOC kit upgrade so yes, we'll all get it for all theatres. It's based on the Crye Multicam pattern as favoured by the US SoF, certain corners of the UK military & airsoft nerds. It's a hybrid pattern of MC with elements of current DPM in it

Multicam is supposed to be very effective in pretty much all terrain types.

Looks like we're not the only ones looking to change; as with most things in life, one size seldom fits all.

Apparently the cousins have even more change in the air, namely Navy PTU Shorts Recalled (http://www.military.com/news/article/navy-news/navy-ptu-shorts-recalled.html?ESRC=navy-a.nl)

PS SASless - Will the RN version have a base colour of "Pink"? It could probably be arranged at your favourite dress shop, if only to satisfy your personal needs ....:ok:
